Many Facebook users are facing a nasty Facebook Worm attack which forces the users to “like” a specific Facebook Page. This Facebook worm once attacks a profile, automatically spreads itself through the attacked/affected user’s wall. That’s why it is highly important that you all beware of this worm otherwise it will affect your and your friends profile. In short Facebook “Like” worm is creating a mess and till now there is no solution except precaution.
Facebook Like Worm: A Warning For All
The “Like” button is one of the premium features of Facebook and that’s what scammers have targeted this time. They have found a way to exploit it with the help of a JavaScript which forces the users to like the page, eventually spreading the worm on different Facebook Walls.
Due to this latest Facebook worm you may come across some wall posts for a page named as “Shocking! This girl killed herself after her dad posted this photo”. Because of the interesting title, people click on the link and that’s how the worm spreads itself further. According the Facebook search, thousands of people have been affected due to this worm. Such worms are pretty common but the Like button worm is something new for users.

So as per the findings, it’s a clear warning to all that Don’t Click on any such links or try to go to this Facebook page otherwise it will force you also to like the page and spread the worm. Right now there is no such information of compromised account details but still the worm is pretty annoying. So beware of this worm and please spread the word among your friends also to stay alert.
