It is a very common problem and can be easily rectified by two methods. The first option is to master reset your handset to factory settings and second one is to hard reset. CAUTION: It is recommended that first master reset should be performed before going for Hard Reset. Also please make sure that you take back up of all your data, contacts etc. because once the code for Hard Reset is pressed, it does not give any warning.
To Hard Reset your Samsung Wave, you need to type a code *2767*3855#. Once the code is typed, your handset will take 30 seconds and after that it will restart with all default settings.
How to Master Rest Samsung Wave
To master reset you handset, you need to follow these steps.
- Open Menu and go to “Settings”.
- Scroll down to an option named “Reset”. Tap the option to open it.
- Under the reset settings, you will get two options. Select “Master Reset”.
- Master Reset will give a warning message that “All data and settings will be erased”. Select “Yes” to continue.
