How to Hard Reset & Master Reset Samsung Wave

Samsung Wave users must have experienced a situation where their handset must be performing really slowly. At times your phone would also hang without any reason. It is a very common problem and can be easily rectified by two methods. The first option is to master reset your handset to factory settings and second one is to hard reset. We will explain both methods today.

How to Hard Reset Samsung Wave

CAUTION: It is recommended that first master reset should be performed before going for Hard Reset. Also please make sure that you take back up of all your data, contacts etc. because once the code for Hard Reset is pressed, it does not give any warning.

To Hard Reset your Samsung Wave, you need to type a code *2767*3855#. Once the code is typed, your handset will take 30 seconds and after that it will restart with all default settings.

How to Master Rest Samsung Wave

To master reset you handset, you need to follow these steps.

  • Open Menu and go to “Settings”.

  • Scroll down to an option named “Reset”. Tap the option to open it.

  • Under the reset settings, you will get two options. Select “Master Reset”.

  • Master Reset will give a warning message that “All data and settings will be erased”. Select “Yes” to continue.

Within few seconds your phone will reset to factory settings. You have to make sure that you take back up of your data before going for this method. So this is how you can easily Hard Reset and Master Reset your Samsung Wave. Same method is applied for all Bada handsets.

I follow ur advice to dial the number for hard reset, what happen my cellphone did not re start rather it hang, so what to do i can’t open the application, It seem ur suggestion doesn’t work at all. It suck

i follow all ur step by step reset its been 2 days the cellphone only open till the bada at does not open at all. is there is any other way to reformat the cp and to where can i download the bada os to re install the software

Hey Dela, this method is flawless but as per your problem I believe you need to re-install your firmware. In your case Hard reset or factory reset won’t help. Try flashing your phone or take it to the service center.

hi, i am using samsung wave 2 model no is : S8530, I want hard reset of my mobile, when i was given *2767*3855# this code its asking phone password, but i dont know the phone password, please help me how to hard reset the mobile, i was tried 8×0′ also and 4×0 also its not happening,
