We earlier posted a detailed tutorial on how to take screenshot on Android mobiles. As the upgradation of Android firmware took place, people started facing problem in taking screenshot from the older method. While testing on Android 2.2 (Froyo) we found the previous method was not working. That’s why we thought about writing an updated tutorial on How to take screenshots on Android Mobiles running version 2.2 (Froyo).
Take Screenshot on Android 2.2 Mobiles
In the previous method we asked our readers to download Android SDK and then look for a specific file which further helped in taking screenshots. But in the latest handsets sometimes that method doesn’t work. To take screenshot in such cases you need to follow a simple technique.
- To take screenshot on Android mobile version 2.2 Froyo you just need to press the back touch button and home button simultaneously.
- Once this is done, a message will flash on the screen as “Screen captured. Saved as image file.” You can access your captured screen from My Files > ScreenCapture folder.
This is a very simple trick and can be used by anyone to take screenshots on Android mobiles handsets running version 2.2 Froyo. For this particular test we used Samsung Galaxy Fit. If you have any other tip regarding taking screenshots on Android Mobiles then do share with us through comments.
