After a long wait, Safari 5 is out now and available for download. Safari is mostly pronounced for Mac users. This new version of Safari i.e. version 5 includes many such features which will attract many people around the world. Apple tried to lay down some new concepts this time as these features are not common.

Safari 5 Features
Safari Reader
This is the coolest feature which I have ever seen in any of the browser till date. Safari reader is a totally new concept where it will remove all annoying ads and visual distractions from the articles on webpages which you want to read. All you need to do is visit a particular webpage where you wish to read the article, safari will self detect that article on that webpage.
Just click the reader icon in the address bar and you will find your article in front you within a moment. You will be having onscreen control facility which will let you to email, print and zoom that particular article. The best part is that if you increase or decrease the font size then safari reader will remember your defined settings for next time.

Performance With Faster Nitro Engine
These days every other browser which comes out wants to be fastest. Safari 5 is also trying to set a platform in terms of their speedy performance. According to Apple sources
“Powered by the Nitro JavaScript engine, Safari 5 on the Mac runs JavaScript 30 percent faster than Safari 4, 3 percent faster than Chrome 5.0 and over twice as fast as Firefox 3.6.”

Safari 5 is coming with one of the best HTML5 support. It includes many features which are mentioned with the help of this image.
Bing Search
Now more search options are available with Safari 5. They have added built-in-Bing search in addition to Google and Yahoo search. You can choose Bing search from the Smart Search field.
Developer Program
Extensions and addons were highly pronounced for browsers like Mozilla Firefox and Google Chrome but now you can also get extensions for Safari. Apple has opened their doors for every developer out there asking to develop extensions for Safari. Every other extension which will be submitted to the extensions gallery will be signed with an Apple-provided digital certificate. Safari Extensions will also come with built-in defenses like sandboxing. This will safeguard your extensions from being used for the purpose of stealing information on a user’s system.
